TFTI invites applications for admission to film training institute for studies

The director of information and cultural affairs department has invited applications from interested students and candidates for admission to abridge courses for training in various aspects of film making. The admission in appropriate formats will be taken for the Tripura Film and Television Institute (TFTI). The admission forms can be obtained from the office of the ICA in Gandhi Ghat and will be have to be submitted in the receipt section from September 20.

The courses to be imparted in the TFTI are ‘Film Appreciation Course’ for four weeks and ‘Screen Acting’ course for 8 weeks , ‘Production Management’ course for 4 weeks and ‘News Anchoring , Reporting and Newsroom Automation’ for 4 weeks . The fee structure for all the courses is same-Rs 500.00 for unreserved category, and Rs 300.00 for SC, ST and Physically handicapped category. For all the courses the government will give 90% subsidy and the candidate’s share will be 10% only.

The last date for filing application is October 20 and the application form can be downloaded from the ICA website under the banner of [email protected]. The classes shall begin from the first week of November.
