CM to meet PM Narendra Modi on Saturday

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Friday leave the state towards New Delhi and will meet with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday to apprise him over the status of several development projects in the state.

Official sources said that Dr Saha will also attend the NITI Aayog ‘s Governing Council meeting with all Chief Ministers of the country on August 7 in presence of Prime Minister.

The state will go to the assembly poll in March next year, while the election to village committees under the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) is scheduled to be completed by the first week of November.

While, Chief Minister disclosing his programme during his Delhi visit said that t he would try to meet other union ministers to expedite projects which are in the pipeline.
