High volt power line snapped in Bishramganj, terrible situation across the village, 1 died, and 9 injured referred to GBP hospital

A High volt power line snapped and created a terrible situation across the village in Barajala, under Bishramganj police station in Sepahijala district. One person have died and 9 injured people have been referred to GB Hospital.

It is reported that the incident took place today afternoon at Barajala Pal Para under Bishramganj police station. Electric wire snapped at Subhash Pal's house. 12 people including the house owner were electrocute. Subhash Pal was declared dead when he was brought to the hospital. Later, news of the death of three more people came which was not true.

Rita Pal, a bride from Subhash Pal's neighbouring family, was also electrocuted. She was at that house at the time of the incident. In this incident, a terrible situation can be seen across the village. 9 people from Subhash Pal's house were victims of this incident. The rest are from neighbouring families. Residents complain that the electricity transformer caught fire in their area after a few days.

Even today, within an hour of the incident, the electricity workers came to the scene. A lot of local residents have blocked the Bishramganj-Agartala road in protest.
