Gopal launches sarcastic attack on Ratan Lal Nath for his hyperbolic sycophancy of deposed chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb, naming none

Former PCC president and CLP leader Gopal Roy has launched a scathing attack on minister for education Ratan Lal Nath for his sycophancy to please the deposed chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb naming neither. Roy who is known for his biting sarcasm alluded to the fulsome praise heaped on Biplab Kumar Deb by Ratan Lal Nath in a recent political programme at Kamalpur. “ It is enlightening that a new inventor has found new avatars of Einstein, Rabindra Nath Tagore and Swami Vibekananda in his former political master but the people of the state have not taken kindly to this” said Gopal in his comments beyond his written statement.

In reference to comments made by Biplab Kumar Deb on various occasions , Gopal said that a deposed chief minister who has not kept even a single one of the 299 promises made before election is now being invested with supernatural virtues and qualities . “His lone contribution to Tripura is the Motor Bike Vahini for beating up, injuring and killing people ; his comments made off and on public for a evoked only derisive laughter; how can he be compared to such stalwarts of humanity down the annals of history?” Gopal asked. Terming Ratan Lal Nath’s reported comments as ‘anti-people’ Gopal said that people of the state will remember with horror the dark days they passed between 2028 and 2022.

He called upon people to rise above all affiliations and differences to ensure that the present anti-people government is unseated from power democratically in the assembly polls of 2023. “It is an imperative that BJP is defeated in Tripura for the interest of the state and its people , otherwise this beautiful state of ours shall go to the dogs” added Gopal.
