They also made other allegations against the BJP government and attributed to the removal of Biplab Kumar Deb from the chief minister to his ‘acts of omission, commission and sin’.

The former party MLA Asish Saha took a swipe at the education minister Ratan Lal Nath for sychophantic comments on Biplab Deb, comparing him to Albert Einstein, Rabindra Nath, Swami Vivekananda and others . “He should be compared to people like Ranga and Billa ; Ratan Lal Nath has gone off his head because in absence of Biplab Deb he will find the going tough” said Asish.

In the well attended programme yesterday 1234 voters belonging to 415 families joined the Congress by accepting party flags from the leaders. In the meeting in which Birajit Sinha, Sudip Roybarman and Asish Saha-all spoke, a new slogan was coined ‘Chalo Ultai’ as a response to the BJP’s sloganof ‘Chalo Paltai’ given in 2018. The programme overall was a grand success and such programmes will continue now till the elections.
