In a heart-wrenching incident a class twelve student of Udaipur breathed his last yesterday in GBP hospital from the deadly neurotic effect of a brain tumour. Sources said from Udaipur that Chiranjit De (18), a student of class XII in Chandrapur area of Udaipur, had been taking his final class XII exam but on the third day of the exam he fell seriously ill and was taken to Gomati district hospital . He was put through many tests after which the doctors told Chiranjit’s parents that he was suffering from brain tumour and needed a major surgery in a good hospital outside the state. Chiranjit’s parents had brought him to GBP hospital , Agartala on Tuesday last and had collected Rs 20 lakhs from public donation for taking Chiranjit outside the state on Friday but unfortunately Chiranjit’s condition deteriorated sharply and he breathed his last yesterday.
