The controversial former DM (west) Shailesh Yadav who was forced to relinquish his post in the wake of nationwide public outcry over his mistreatment of civilians and police in the 'Manikya Court' marriage house on 26th April night is still without any new assignment or posting . The state government has kept him without any official duty pending settlement of the controversial issue in which he is involved. This matter will be brought to the notice of the High Court's division bench comprising chief justice A.A.Kureshi and S.G.Chatterjee tomorrow when a PIL and a separate writ petition filed in the court by the assaulted priest Sarbananda Jha will come up for hearing. On last Monday the division bench had expressed their displeasure over the role of Shailesh Yadav and had observed how he can remain in West Tripura.
