Paranormal events are purported phenomena described in popular culture, folk, and other non- scientific bodies of knowledge, whose existence within these contexts is described as beyond normal experience or scientific explanation.

Proposals regarding the paranormal are different from scientific hypotheses or speculations extrapolated from scientific evidence because scientific ideas are grounded in empirical observations and experimental data gained through the scientific method. In contrast, those who argue for the existence of the paranormal explicitly do not base their arguments on empirical evidence but rather on anecdote, testimony, and suspicion.

Paranormal events are also related to our day to day literature in our writing and fiction. The word paranormal has become very famous in our day to day life, i.e. in the field of entertainment or in any like of literature. Such as Ghost hunting's, traditional ghost lore and fiction featuring ghosts, a ghost is a manifestation of the spirit or soul of a person. Alternative theories expand on that idea and include belief in the ghosts of deceased animals. Sometimes the term "ghost" is used synonymously with any spirit or demon, however in popular usage the term typically refers to a deceased person's spirit. Another one, Crypto zoology is a pseudoscience and subculture that aims to prove the existence of entities from the folklore record, such as Bigfoot, chupacabras, or Mokele-m bembe. Crypto zoology refers to these entities as cryptids, a term coined by the subculture.

Various types of folklore and myths are associated with paranormal events. In Bengali culture there are many stories which are to be based in on paranormal activities, it is a important part of Bengali folk lore it form an integral part of the socio-cultural beliefs of the people living in the geographical and ethno-linguistic region of Bengal, which today consists of the independent nation of Bangladesh, and the Indian states of West Bengal. Fairy tales, both old and new, often use the concept of ghosts. In modern-day Bengali literature, cinema and also in radio & television media, the references to ghosts are often found. There are also many alleged haunted sites in this region. It is believed that the spirits of those who cannot find peace in the afterlife or die unnatural deaths remain on Earth.

Like the ghosts, spirits the paranormal games are also getting very much popularity we can see many young people studying in different school and colleges are engaged in different paranormal games they think it is a kind of fun for them. they search this games from the internet or from the youtube and try as a source of time pass and many people have to face different type of serious consequence some the games like Charlie Charlie, bloody mary, elevator to another world, one man hide and seek, Midnight man and the Ouija (this is a board game available in the online shopping), but it is a danger to buy this board game. It is believed that this game takes a person to a different dimension which mainly focuses in their sub conscious mind. It seems easy, right? People who’ve played this game swear that one should never play it. Some have experienced hallucinations and a few were even left with permanent, mental scars.

Studies found that people with paranormal beliefs tend to have particularly rich imaginations and are inclined to become easily engrossed in tasks. Some scientists have criticised the media for promoting paranormal claims. In a report (Singer and Benassi, 1981) wrote that the media may account for much of the near universality of paranormal belief as the public are

constantly exposed to films, newspapers, documentaries and books endorsing paranormal claims while critical coverage is largely absent.
