The All Tripura Mega Quiz organised by Tripurainfo.com was a perfect platform to showcase the pure talent that this small hilly state possess proving the fact that why the students of the state had made their mark very successfully in all fields both within the country and outside. This very fact was highlighted by the Chairman of the Mega Quiz Organising Committee and veteran Journalist Shekhar Dutta who reiterated that Tripura never had or has dearth of talent. He mentioned the name of Braja Gopal Debnath who got through IIT entrance in early sixties and followed by IGP Amitabha Kar. He also talked about Siddhartha Purkayastha who stood second in the Higher Secondary Examination of West Bengal Board Of Secondary Education in 1967. This is followed by countless such achievers from this state and the performance of the contestants as well as the audience is a definite indication of this the talent this state has.

The quiz had participants of all ages from small children, students from school to various colleges and universities as well as professionals. There were many veterans also who have been participating in the quiz since its inception. All were mesmerised by the fact that baring few almost all the questions asked by the three very stalwart quiz masters of national repute were answered. The show also witnessed an august gathering ranging from politicians, senior officials, retired bureaucrats,  civil servants, journalists, senior professionals to students both from state and outside, young people both working and job aspirants and even homemakers. It was a full day of pure quizzing which saw active participation of the very accomplished and sound audience. It was such a wonderful experience to see some homemakers amongst the audience answered tough questions which cannot be answered by even the participating teams. Participants from the audience answered some questions which the quiz masters themselves said were really tough. It was an emotional moment when a young chap won audience prize and when called on stage he told that he works as a delivery boy in swiggy and took leave for the day just to attend the quiz program. He also told that last year he won the best audience award and a cash prize of ten thousand rupees. This quiz was not only about hardcore quizzing but also a blend of myriad emotions. Mr. Bharat Jain who comes all the way from Hyderabad to conduct the quiz shared his journey with the show and told how over the years he feels connected with the state. He told he never ever miss the opportunity to visit Matabari. Another such emotional moment was the surprise arrival of Dr. M.J. Panickar. He and Mr. Abhijit Bhattacharya were the quiz masters since the beginning of the program way back in 2006. While Mr. Abhijit Bhattacharya continued to add glory to the show over the years but Dr. M.J. Panicker has to leave due to his professional commitment and moved to Oman. From there he used to conduct one round over telephone and give away cash prizes every year. This year also the expectation was that Dr. Panicker wud conduct that round from Oman but it was a pleasant surprise to all when he came in person on the stage. The round was a wonderful one as lot of people won cash prizes and Dr. Panicker was present in the stage himself to conduct the round as well as give away the prize. It was lovely to see the Panicker brothers on stage together. Mr.Nandu Panciker who took the baton from his brother and since then conducting the quiz successfully asked for a picture with his elder brother on the stage of the All Tripura Mega Quiz which according to him was his long cherished dream. Such was the emotion involved with this mega quiz.

A good initiative was taken by the organisers this year. They felicitated all the dignitaries with plant saplings. Keeping in view the environmental preservation and the need to plant more trees the saplings were gifted which are easy to plant and nurture. They wanted to give the message loud and clear that the need of the hour is to plant trees in order to save further environmental degradation and combat the ever increasing global warming and climate change.
