Three artisans from Manipur to receive National Handicraft Award

New Delhi, Dec 09, 2025 : Three artisans from Manipur will be conferred the National Handicraft Award by the Ministry of Textiles. The Award Distribution will be held in New Delhi today.

According to the Ministry of Textiles, the National Handicraft Award 2023 and 2024 will be conferred to 23 Master craft persons from different states and Union territories. Among them, three master craftspeople from Manipur will be conferred the award during the ceremony. They are Laishram Memicha, Yengkhom Ongbi Indira Devi and A. Bimola Devi.

Union Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh and Union Minister of State for Textiles Pabitra Magarita will grace the Award Distribution Ceremony.
