PM extends greetings to several states and UTs
New Delhi, Nov 01, 2025 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended his greetings to the people of Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, and Madhya Pradesh on their Formation Day today. In a series of social media posts, Mr Modi, while wishing the people of Chhattisgarh, said the state engaged in setting ever-new benchmarks of progress. He added that many areas in the state, which were once affected by Naxalism, are now competing in development.
Mr Modi added that the historic land of Haryana has been an example for the entire country due to the tireless hard work of the farmer brothers and sisters, the unparalleled valour of our soldiers, and the remarkable performance of our youth. The Prime Minister, while extending his greetings to the people of Karnataka, said that the state embodies the spirit of progress rooted in wisdom. He also said that Kannada Rajyotsava celebrates the outstanding culture of Karnataka, reflected in its literature, art, and music, as well as the excellence and industrious nature of the people of Karnataka.
Wishing the people of Kerala on Kerala Piravi, Mr Modi highlighted that the state’s scenic landscapes and centuries-old heritage reflect India’s vibrant cultural grandeur. He added that Kerala is a state whose people have been excelling in diverse sectors globally and have distinguished themselves for their creativity as well as innovation.
The Prime Minister further said that Madhya Pradesh, nestled in the heart of the country, is today infusing a new pace of progress in every sector by prioritising the aspirations of every individual. He also expressed confidence that the talented and hard-working people of the state will play an invaluable role in fulfilling the resolve for a developed India.
