Distance Education

Government Degree College, Gandacherra, established in 2011 is located at Gandacherra, 60- Card, Saima, Dhalai Tripura. Although the college is situated at the remotest part of the State, presently college has drawn the attention of the students from every nook and corner and has been offering both B.A. Pass and Honours Courses under regular mode. At present, the college has around 300 students including the students under Distance mode. College has introduced Honours Courses in four subjects namely- Political Science, History, Education and Bengali. All the teachers and staff of this college are dedicated to take the college to the highest scale of summit in respect of teaching-learning matters.
It is now nearly three years since, I have taken over the charge of this college. Over the period, I have become increasingly aware of the needs, expectations, aspirations and sentiments of the students and people of this area. I, along with my dedicated colleagues of this college, have been trying to take the college to the highest scale of summit and we all are deeply engaged to honour the values associated with the college.
