BJP ‘Mandal’ president’s friend caught with ‘Yaba’ tablets and an accomplice

In a raid on the residence of local BJP leader Chiranjeet Singh alias Gedu in the Dhanpur area under Sonamura subdivision a group of BSF jawans recovered a packet of contraband ‘Yaba’ tablets that may be priced at lakhs of rupees last night. The ‘Yaba’ tablet packet was seized by BSF and Chiranjeet Shil alias Gedu and his accomplice and partner in smuggling business Yasin Mia were arrested and handed over to police in Jatrapur police station.

Sources from Dhanpur said that nabbed Chiranjeet Shil alias Gedu was found in possession of a pistol when his residence was raided last year by another group of BSF jawans . But the incident triggered such a future that he had to be released from the Jatrapur police station itself without being booked under the arms act. Since Chiranjeet Shil alias Gedu is a friend and political colleague of the BJP’s Dhanpur ‘Mandal’ president Bipul Majumder a similar situation was about to arise last night also but the BSF jawans quickly shifted Chirajeet Shil alias Gedu and his accomplice Yasin Mia to Jatrapur police station . However, sources said that political bigwigs of Dhanpur are trying to have Chiranjeet Shil and Yasin Mia released from the police station itself without being charged and produced in court.
