Purvaudaya, an initiative promoting community welfare, compassion and social responsibility, is set to reopen its “Heart of Humanity” outlet at Radhanagar in Agartala on Monday, September 21, 2026, with the objective of supporting people in need through the sharing and redistribution of usable items.
According to Ms. Niti Sharma, founder and a leading representative of the Purvaudaya initiative, the Radhanagar outlet has been conceived as a community-driven platform where people can contribute items they no longer need and make them available to those who require them. The initiative seeks to transform surplus household and personal belongings into meaningful support for vulnerable sections of society.
The inauguration ceremony is scheduled to take place at 4:00 PM on September 21 at the Purvaudaya Heart of Humanity Outlet in Radhanagar.
The initiative draws inspiration from the values associated with Maharaja Bir Bikram Manikya Bahadur and Maharani Kanchan Prabha Devi, whose images and legacy feature prominently in the campaign material.
Purvaudaya describes Maharaja Bir Bikram as the “Architect of Modern Tripura” and Maharani Kanchan Prabha Devi as a symbol of compassion and service. The organisation says these historical values provide inspiration for its efforts to encourage kindness, dignity and community participation.
