Tripura Cadet Wins Gold in NCC Net Sports Shooting Event in Shillong

In a moment of pride and honour for Tripura and the entire North Eastern Region, a cadet from 15 Tripura Battalion NCC has achieved remarkable success by winning the Gold Medal in Net Sports Shooting at a prestigious NCC competition held in Shillong.

Cadet Fidel Jamatia, a Junior Division (JD) cadet of 15 Tripura Battalion NCC, displayed extraordinary precision, concentration, and discipline to emerge as the top performer in the highly competitive event. Competing against talented cadets from various NCC units across the North East, Fidel’s outstanding performance earned widespread appreciation from officials and fellow participants alike.

The prestigious gold medal was presented by the Additional Director General (ADG) of NCC during a grand award ceremony attended by senior NCC officers, instructors, and cadets representing different states of the region. Such events are regularly organised by the NCC in the North Eastern Region to encourage excellence, leadership, discipline, and competitive spirit among cadets.

The achievement has brought immense recognition to 15 Tripura Battalion NCC, which continues to establish itself as one of the prominent NCC units in the region through consistent performances in training, cultural activities, and competitive events.
