ESIC distributes cash assistance among 85 beneficiaries , working class patients happy

The Employees State Insurance Scheme (ESIC), launched way back in 1948 by the government of India for providing assistance in medical treatment of working class in the organized as well as unorganized sectors have been working in right earnest to perform its assigned job. The Tripura branch of ESIC has also been providing assistance to working class people in this regard . A press note issued by Samar Das, manager of Tripura branch of ESIC affiliated with the Guwahati regional office, has disbursed an amount of Rs 7,30,277 among altogether 85 beneficiaries during the month of March 2026.

According to the press note the amount was released towards sickness benefit (SB), temporary disablement benefit (TDB), permanent disablement benefit (PDB), dependents benefit (DB), maternity benefits and others. All the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude and thanks to the ESIC authority for the assistance they received at the time of crisis
