SLL brigade in Tripura profusely shed tears over joint US-Israeli attack on Iran

The so-called Secular Left Liberal (SLL) brigade who specialise in mourning over the slightest discomfiture or trouble faced by the global ‘peaceful’ diaspora took no time in shedding profuse tears over the ongoing Israeli-US joint attack on the medieval theocracy in Iran, specially mourning the death of monster Ayatolla Ali Khameni and his next of kin. A man who has presided over the genocide, maiming and relentless persecution of dissonant voices against his evil regime over the past 37 years only in order to promote and strengthen an evil theocratic regime, divorced from all human values met the fate he so richly deserved. Apart from crying hoarse and plotting potential destruction of tiny Israel and the distant ‘Great Satan’, the USA through cries of ‘death to Israel and death to America’, the evil regime got close to a thousand women protesters shot dead as recently as in 2022. It was also the greatest and fanatically zealous sponsor of terrorism across the Middle East through proxies such as ‘Hamas’ in Gaza, ‘Hizbollah’ in Lebanon, ‘Houthi’ in Yemen and remnants of ISIS elements in Iraq-all bonded by the common design to destroy the state of Israel. The attack was in the offing in view of the evil theocracy’s genocidal rhetoric and desperate attempts to secure nuclear power for achieving its evil ends.
The muddle-headed SLL brigade who never learn from history have predictably reacted, as always, to the US-Israel joint preemptive attack on Iran by shedding tears over death of ‘children’ and so-called violation of international law. In a statement the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) lamented the attack on Iran , grieving over casualties and calling for cessation of hostilities , perhaps as a self-protective measures in advance in the run up to the string of assembly polls this year. More strident has expectedly been the reaction of the leftists who condemned the ‘US imperialism’ and ‘Zionist conspiracy’ manifested in their attack on Iranian theocracy as part of an attempt to curry favour of the considerably large ‘peaceful’ electorate in Kerala and West Bengal. But they conveniently forget the over-arching imperialist design of their Chinese patrons, now waiting to grab the tiny island of Taiwan sooner rather than later and the way they portrayed the Chinese fellow-travellers in a central committee document circulated in 2012.
What however seems a little intriguing are the antics of the ‘Tripura Vigyan Mancha’ who held a conference in the Students Health Home yesterday. The leading lights of the ‘Mancha’ holding their third state conference did not relent only by bemoaning the attack but maintained minute’s silence over the death of people (Khamenei and company) and called for destruction of US imperialism and war through posters and placards. This was not entirely unexpected as the Marxists in the country suffer now from obsolescence in thoughts and ideas and are yet to integrate themselves with the idea of India, its true history , culture and traditional value system.
Long ago they had made a virtue of hitting streets to press for protection of rights of British factory workers in pre-independence days at the cost of freedom movement, they had betrayed the quit India movement of 1942, closely collaborated with the Muslim League in partitioning India , staged an armed uprising against newly independent India in 1948 leading to temporary ban, betrayed India yet again in 1962 during Chinese aggression refusing even to donate blood to army, equated late PM Indira Gandhi with the Paklstani genocidal dictator Yahya Khan and did many other things. The SLL brigade’s hearts continue to bleed for Cuba, terrorist Hamas regime of Gaza but when it comes to brutal persecution of Hindus in Bangladeshi or Pakistani hellscapes , the SLL brigade and their Marxist sponsors either turn dumb or resort to meaningless tokenism or prevarication.
In the ultimate analysis it is , however, the pathetic story of unrequited love : for all their solicitous advances the SLL brigade and their original sponsors remain banned pariahs in most of the world’s 57 ‘peaceful’ countries and are allowed to function with lot of restrictions in a few under changed banner . But they are ideologically atrophied , unable to leave the cocoon of their anachronistic ideas and beliefs . The lone remedy that can help them survive lies in studying the true history of India , Israel and the Middle East-the litany of events of the past as they happened , not what they imagine should have happened. History is studied in the present to plan and build a brighter future in the light of the experiences of past and a study of true history is a must for nations to redeem themselves in the future , not the perverse ideologically twisted accounts of what really happened.
