ESIC distribute huge amount among beneficiaries of medical schemes in December 25

The Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) which operates a social security scheme for low-income employees and workers in the private sector across the country has been making available a slew of medical benefits in Tripura also ever since the launching of the Tipura branch office of the corporation. As part of this many registered beneficiaries have benefited from the ESIC’s medical insurance scheme at low cost in the form of cash assistance or free treatment in the ESIC-specific hospitals.

The Branch Manager of ESIC , Tripura Samar Das has informed the media through an official statement that a huge amount of Rs 9,74,574.00 was disbursed to medical insurance beneficiaries of ESIC in the month of December 2025.This amount was disbursed among beneficiaries under schemes like Sickness Benefit (SB), Temporary Disablement Benefit (TDB), Permanent Disablement Benefit (PDB), Dependence Benefit (DB), Maternity Benefit (MB) and similar other benefits.

The EDIC which operates multiple medical insurance schemes under the union Ministry of Labour and Employment, government of India has been serving the poor workers and employees with monetary benefits since its launching way back in the year 1948. The Tripura Branch Manager of ESIC Samar Das said that the Corporation is now working on expanding its services in Tripura to include all low-paid workers and employees.
