Mice in lion’s den, theft in the house of TSR jawan posted in Delhi

In a daring case of theft a gang of thieves broke into the house of TSR jawan Bipul Debbarma who is currently posted in Delhi along with his colleagues in the same company. Sources said that Bipul’s wife Beauty Debbarma lives along with her only son in the Uttar Vidyanagar area under Kailashar police station . On the night of January 7 Beauty and her son had had dinner and slept in her paternal home. But yesterday in the morning when she returned she found the grill of her one storied building broken but every thing in order in her room. After being informed of what had happened Beauty’s father Sachindra Debbama (63), a retired sub-inspector of Tripura, rushed to the spot and called the Kailasahar police station . But the police personnel took long three hours to reached Beauty and Bipul’s home.

It was after the arrival of police that the locker in the room that been unlocked was opened and it was found that several thousands of cash and a large quantity of gold ornaments had disappeared. The police personnel registered a case of theft and promised to launch immediate investigation. Source said that local people wer e amazed at the daring theft in the house of TSR jawan Bipul Debbama who is away. “While Beauty Debbarma’s husband Bipul is a serving TSR jawan, her father Sachindra Debabrma who lives next to her residence is a retired sub-inspector of state while her elder brother Arup Debbarma is the incumbent officer in charge of Kalam Chaura police station in Sonamura subdivision” sources said .

They added that recently there has been a massive spike in crimes in rural areas of Kailasahar sub-division but there is no sense of urgency in the police force for controlling the spiralling crime rate . A sense of panic has gripped the minds of people all over Kailsahar subdivision because of the spiralling crimes rates.
