CM Dr Manik Saha’s birth anniversary today, observances all over the state

The chief minister Dr Manik Saha today completed 72 years of his illustrious life as he was born on January 8 1954 at Agartala. The occasion is being observed all over the state by BJP party workers and supporters affiliated with various ‘Mandals. The prime minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Dr Saha and conveyed best wishes for his long and active life and contribution to politics in a message on his ‘X’ handle. Apart from this, wishes and congratulations have poured in from all over the country.

Early in the morning today Dr Saha , accompanied by his wife , reached the ‘Maata Kali’ temple in Melarmath area and both of them offered special ‘Puja’ and prayed for a short while amidst hymn chanting by a priest . Later the BJP party ‘Mandals’ across the state observed his 72nd birth anniversary of the chief minister and prayed for his long and active life. Most of the party leaders including ministers of the cabinet and associate parties also congratulated him on his birth anniversary.
