New secretary of Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) appointed

Within four days of the publication of routine for the ‘Madhyamik’ and HS (+2) examination there has been a change in the administrative structure of the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE). By the latest order of the state government in this regard , the incumbent secretary of the TBSE Dulal De has been reverted to his original post of associate professor of Mathematics in Bir Bikram Memorial College (BBMC).

He has however been replaced by his colleage Jaydip Bhattacharjee , associate professor of Mathematics in the BBMC college . A notification in this regard was issued by the director of higher education Animesh Debbarma who is also in charge of TBSE with authorisation from the governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu. It is notable that on last 10th November 10 only the outgoing TBSE secretary Dulal De and the president Dr Dhananjay Ganchowdhury had announced the schedule of Madhyamik and HS (+2) exam of TBSE for the year 2026 in a press conference . The sudden removal of Dulal De from the post of secretary has raised eyebrows within the TBSE and without it.
