A large group of leaders of ‘Jana Jati Morcha’, tribal front organization of the ruling BJP today visited the Tulasikhar area under Asharambari assembly constituency to meet party workers and supporters injured by ‘Tipra Motha’ miscreants on July 26. The delegation of ‘Jana Jati Morcha’ leaders was headed by veteran leader and BJP MLA Rampada Jamatya. It was on July 26 that BJP workers and supporters in Tulasikhar area had gathered to listen to the radio-broadcast ‘Mann Ki Baath’ speech of prime minister Narendra Modi . At that time a large gang of local ‘Tipra Motha’ miscreants had attacked the place where the BJP workers and supporters had been listening to the speech and vandalised the whole speech besides beating up a large number of BJP supporters including local leaders.

The state government had however reacted strongly to the incident of attack and got three ‘Tipra Motha’ miscreants arrested . On Tuesday last the ‘Tipra Motha’ miscreants again tried to create trouble by laying a siege around the Tulasikhar police station but they were dispersed. As part of the BJP’s initiative to counter the mischievous activities of ‘Tipra Motha’ at the organizational level a large group of ‘Jana Jati Morcha’ leaders headed by veteran Rampada Jamatya, Rebati Tripura etc visited the affected area and spoke to the partymen affected by ‘Motha’s violence and told them to face all troubles politically. Rampada Jamatya said that Tripura is not personal fief of anybody and every citizen of Tripura has a constitutionally guaranteed right to engage in political and organizational activities. He advised the party workers to keep up their morale and courage and face the ‘Tipra Motha’s troubles politically.
