Expansion in the BJP ministry tomorrow , one induction likely , Raj Bhawan decked up for swearing in

The eleven member council of ministers comprising representatives from BJP, IPFT and Tipra Motha is likely to be expanded tomorrow to full strength of 12 through induction into the only vacant slot . Even though there is no official confirmation speculation is rife in the political circles that BJP MLA from Nalchhar constituency in Sonamura subdivision Kishore Barman will be inducted in the ministry after being sworn in tomorrow in Raj Bhawan in the afternoon. Official sources from Raj Bhawan said that the gubernatorial home is all decked up for the swearing in tomorrow which will be conducted by the governor Indrasen Reddy Nallu. Kishore Barman , the expected new inductee , could not be contacted for comment on his anticipated induction.

After the BJP government had come to power for the second time in 2023 , the chief minister Dr Manik Saha constituted a nine member ministry including himself. As per the 91st amendment of the constitution Tripura can have a twelve-member ministry only and the nine members sworn in as ministers of the second BJP government were Dr Manik Saha (CM), Ratan Lal Nath,Pranjit Singha Roy,Sushanta Chowdhury, Santana Chakma, Sudhangshu Das, Bikash Debbarma, Tinku Roy, Shukla Charan Noatia (IPFT). In the year 2024 the ministry was expended to strength of eleven with induction of Tipra Motha MLAs Animesh Debbarma who is a minister and young Brishaketu Debbarma who has stayed away from ministerial duty despite being sworn.

The swearing in of Kishore Barman , as expected tomorrow, will give the state a full-fledged twelve member ministry.However, confirmation of Kiskore Barman being sworn in tomorrow is yet to be confirmed.
