My comments in the Article of Sri Santosh Karmakar on Sri L.K.Gupta The article vividly portrays the exceptional qualities and distinguished career of Sri L.K. Gupta, former Chief Secretary of the Government of Tripura. The author has eloquently articulated many significant events and experiences that reflect his remarkable personality, administrative acumen, and unwavering dedication to public service. I had the privilege of interacting with Sri Gupta on many occasions, including once before my posting in PWD, Amarpur, when he was serving as SDO. However, I had the opportunity to closely observe his commitment to development and public welfare during his tenure as District Magistrate of Dhalai District and further as Chief Secretary. I still vividly remember his persistent efforts and keen interest in ensuring the construction of the food godown at Raisyabari, a project that demonstrated his deep concern for the needs of the people and his determination to achieve meaningful outcomes. One of his most admirable qualities was his ability to maintain excellent coordination and harmonious relationships with all departments and officials associated with various developmental activities. His leadership style was marked by inclusiveness, mutual respect, and a strong sense of purpose. These qualities were further evident in the numerous meetings that I attended during my posting in the office of the Chief Engineer, PWD at Secretariat building where his insightful guidance, balanced judgment, and administrative wisdom left a lasting impression on everyone present. Sri L.K. Gupta has undoubtedly left an indelible mark as an outstanding public servant whose career was characterized by integrity, wisdom, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to the welfare of society. His exemplary conduct and dedication to duty serve as an inspiration for all those engaged in public service and provide a model worthy of emulation by future generations of administrators. I would like to take this opportunity to convey my highest regards and profound respect to Sri Gupta. I sincerely wish him good health, happiness, and continued well-being in the years ahead. Er.
