Altogether 37 teachers served notice

Agartala, November 7, 2018:  A joint team of Education, TTTAADC and the Jirania subdivisional administration has carried out a massive on-spot inspection in 84 schools on Tuesday to check the ground reality.

In course of the day-long inspection, as many as 37 teachers were found at fault and all of them were served notices by the department asking to explain the reason behind the faults, according to sources.

The faults include not keeping financial statement properly, unauthorized absent and not maintaining teacher's diary and lesson plan in accordance of the guideline. After meeting such irregularities, altogether 37 teachers were given notices to explain why this was happening. Action will be taken after getting replies from the concerned teachers. Elementary Education Director UK Chakma led the massive exercise spreading in 84 schools under Jirania subdivision. TTAADC-run schools did not get respite as officials from the tribal council also joined the mammoth exercise.
